Apple Computer announced on Thursday that it will not be naming a new CEOby the end of the year as expected.
"Apple's search for a CEO has been met with interest from several seriouscandidates," said Apple spokesperson Katie Cotton. She said that none of the candidates was "a perfect fit" for the job, however.
As such, interim CEO Steve Jobs will give the keynote address at MacWorldin January. Originally, the slot was left open for the "new CEO.
