The Web offers resources for helping you keep up-to-date with service packs and hotfixes. Here are a few sites you’ll find useful:
For Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1), go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/recommended/sp1/x86Lang.asp. In addition, you can use Microsoft Internet Explorer’s (IE’s) Windows Update feature (choose Windows Update from the Tools menu) to obtain this service pack and other smaller security fixes as they become available.
For general security patches and Microsoft hotfixes, go to http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security.
