Microsoft releases 20th volume of its semi-annual Security Intelligence Report

If you're looking for a handy reference on all the things that go wrong for your organization's security, you're in luck: Microsoft has released the 20th volume of its semi-annual Security Intelligence Report, available for free on their SIR site.

A lot of the material is collected from Microsoft's copious amount of previously released security studies, blog posts, and updates, and then organized into a more logical reference format, spanning information gathered from July through December of last year.

It offers information on specific emerging threats, looks at threats in various regions of the globe, and details on specific threats and threat vectors.

In conjunction with the report, Microsoft also offers a country-by-country breakdown assessment of the current threat landscape for a hundred countries, which includes details on the specific attacks that are prevalent in those areas.
