Microsoft Introduces myBulletins, a Security Bulletin Customization Service and Dashboard

Today, Microsoft has unveiled a new service for those responsible for identifying, monitoring, and managing patching and security for their organization. myBulletins is a web-based service that creates an online security dashboard based on selected Microsoft products.

The site requires a Microsoft account, but once logged in and configured, the dashboard can provide an efficient way for customers to quickly view security bulletins that impact currently installed applications. Bulletins released since 2008 are included in the tool, giving organizations a historical view of security releases.

myBulletins is completely web-based and does not provide notifications for new releases. To view new releases, you have to log on and view them in the dashboard. The customized information can be exported to Microsoft Excel, though, allowing for offline data manipulation.

The new service is located here: My Security Bulletins Dashboard
