CellCrypt released a cool tool for all of you Blackberry users out there: end to end voice call encryption.

But there's a catch (which I find extremely unsettling), the technology relies on a "central switch" that handles "authentication, secure routing and increasing performance of Cellcrypt-based secure voice calls."

So, uh, how secure will your call be when you have no idea who is really handling authentication? The fact of the matter is that such technology can be, and has been developed that does not require any time of man in the middle.

I have no idea how much CellCrypt will charge for the Blackberry feature. But I do know that the company charges about $3750 per year for the same service for Nokia phone users.
