Q. I installed Microsoft Office 2007 on my terminal server, but it won't run. Why not?
September 20, 2009
A. If you try to launch an Office 2007 application in a terminal services session, you may receive this error:
"This copy of Microsoft Office Word cannot be used on Terminal Server. Please contact your local authorized Microsoft retailer for more information."
To use Office 2007 on a terminal server, you must install the enterprise/volume license version of Office 2007 and activate it with a volume license key.
