A. When you install the Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server software, it includes a firewall client that is located in the %systemdrive%Program FilesMicrosoft ISA Serverclients directory and shares the folder as mspclnt.

To install this client, perform the following steps:

  1. Connect to the mspclnt share on the ISA server.

  2. Run setup.exe.

  3. Click Continue.

  4. Click "Install Microsoft Firewall Client."

  5. Click OK.

All IP connectivity will now be routed via the ISA Server. To configure the client, use the Firewall Client Control Panel applet, which lets you select the ISA Server.
