Zero Punctuation: BioShock
A reader/listener catching up on old episodes of Windows Weekly sent me this hilarious video review of BioShock . I will eventually tell the story of about what I believe to be a person involved in or at least close to the development of the game actually threatened my life (twice) over my review and then promptly closed the temporary Gmail account they had created specifically for this purpose. Eventually. For now, enjoy this instead, which is deadly accurate and also quite profane (you've been warned). This week, The Escapist's Zero Punctuation reviews BioShock.Yahtzee is a British-born, currently Australian-based writer andgamer with a sweet hat and a chip on his shoulder. When he isn'ttalking very fast into a headset mic he also designs freeware adventuregames and does the occasional feature for Australia's Hyper Magazine. I'm heartened that others are waking up to the fact that this game is beautiful, atmospheric, and ultimately not as good as hyped. Shame to all those 10/10 reviewers. Thanks Andrew.
