What is MSINFO32.EXE?

A. MSINFO32.EXE was first introduced with Office 97 and gives detailedinformation about your computer. In Windows 2000, MSINFO32.EXE has replacedWINMSD.EXE and if you try and start WINMSD, MSINFO32 will be started.

MSINFO32 not only gives information about your hardware, it can give fullinformation about currently running processes, programs configured to start whenthe system starts and much more.
