By using DAX formulas, you can enrich your PowerPivot model in multiple ways. In this session, you’ll learn the principles of working with the DAX language through the development of many different types of calculations. You’ll learn how to create calculated columns to compute new values for each row of imported data, such as the concatenation of multiple columns or the replacement of one string for another. You’ll also learn how to create calculated fields to aggregate data for analysis and key performance indicators to measure progress towards goals. In addition, you’ll learn how evaluation context affects query results.
