AppLocker is a new application restriction technology that is available in the Enterprise and Ultimate editions of the Windows 7 operating system. AppLocker has an advantage over traditional Software Restriction Policies (SRP) in that AppLocker includes functionality to automatically generate rules, something that you needed to do manually with SRPs. In this screencast I’ll show you how to enable basic AppLocker policies to block the execution of Solitaire while allowing the execution of other programs located in the Program Files and Windows directories.
