Windows IT Pro is pleased to welcome Rod Trent and myITforum.com to the team. Rod takes on the new role of IT Community Manager and brings 25 years of experience in IT and a passion for connecting the community to the job. While Rod may be best known for his technical expertise on System Center, he will cover all areas of systems management that IT pros tackle every day.

“We are delighted to welcome Rod as a face and voice for our Microsoft IT pro community,” said Penton Technology Market Leader Peg Miller. He will be a daily presence on Windows IT Pro to share news and technical insights, alongside our technical directors, Michael Otey and Sean Deuby; our subject matter editors, Brian Winstead, Jason Bovberg, Caroline Marwitz, and Blair Greenwood; and me.

“Throughout my career I’ve been an evangelist for technical community on the web and in real life,” said Trent. “The pulpit at Penton is perfectly aligned with the purpose of myITforum.com to serve the news, knowledge and networking needs of the IT professional community.”

Rod is here to help you find the answers you seek. Feel free to reach out to Rod and start a conversation. He will be attending MMS 2013 where you will likely find him at the myITforum.com booth, delivering sessions, or at various networking events. Also, you can follow him on Twitter: @rodtrent.
