CyberLink, a provider of integrated solutions for digital homes, announced support for digital TV tuner cards in its popular PowerCinema software solution. A spokesperson for CyberLink said that the company's new support for the digital cards makes PowerCinema the first software "to offer broader compatibility by allowing users to receive both digital and analog TV programs from one PC system." The new digital TV support works with Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial (DVB-T) tuner cards and hybrid TV tuner cards. In addition to letting you watch TV on a PC, PowerCinema lets you record broadcast TV shows to disk, create and play DVD movies, organize videos, and more. PowerCinema pricing starts at $49.95.
