A. Windows NT allows shares to be created that are more than 12characters and Windows NT based machines can see and use these quite happily.Windows 9x clients however can only connect to shares of 12 characters or less.
There is no fix for this and see if you require Windows 9x clients to connectto a share make sure it is 12 characters or less.
