A. There are some problems with BIOS settings when NT is beinginstalled on a machine designed for Windows 95/98

There have been a number of cases where frustrated users had troubleinstalling network cards and such for NT on machines designed for windows 95/98(like HP Pavillion, etc). Usually, there is a simple BIOS setting that lets youspecify whether the OS is PNP compliant. Setting this to "No" or"Other" usually takes care of most problems.
