Microsoft Revives Monthly Lync Calls for Service Manager Fans

With organizational changes at Microsoft now a little more stable, the company is looking to revive a special monthly Lync call for customers using or interesting in Microsoft System Center Service Manager.

Kathleen Wilson has recently replaced Christian Booth in the System Center product group and is now in charge of the call. Each month she'll bring the product group and both internal and external experts to have chats about Service Manager. The chats in the past included topics such as features, issues, bugs, feature requests, upcoming rollups and patches, and what Microsoft might be planning for the future of the product.

It's a worthwhile call even if you're just mildly interested in using Service Manager. Service Manager tends to be one of the least implemented System Center product, just ahead of System Center Advisor, so any additional information and promotion of the product is a good thing.

A new monthly calendar invite (.ics file) has been posted so you can add a reminder to your schedule. I suggest attending at least one just to see if it's worth your while going forward. You can either join the call through Lync or use the telephone number provided in the calendar invite.
