We want our users to be able to use Microsoft Office Outlook 2003's Search Folders (aka Smart Folders) feature. However, when users create new Search Folders, they don't appear in Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2003. What do we need to do to make these folders appear?

When you create a new Search Folder, its visibility in OWA is dependent on whether Outlook is in online or cached mode when you create the folder. If Outlook is in online mode, it will immediately create the folder on the server, and the folder will immediately be visible in OWA. If Outlook is in cached mode, it will create the folder on the client and perform local searches, so the folder won't be visible in OWA.
