You receive AWD files via email, from a Windows 98 shared fax, but you can't read them.

The retail Windows 2000 and Windows XP CD-ROMs contain a I386WIN9XMIGFAXAWDVSTUB.EXE file, which will convert an AWD file to a TIFF file. Copy it to a folder in your path. To convert a AWD to a TIFF file, type:

AWDVSTUB /c FolderXFileName.AWD [FolderYFileName.TIF]
