The default behavior of Internet Explorer 6 is to use Internet Explorer Error Reporting when Internet Explorer abnormally terminates.

To configure Internet Explorer 6 to use the default operating system error handler:

1. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain.

2. Edit or add an IEWatsonEnabled Value Name, a REG_DWORD data type, and set the data value to 0.

NOTE: A data value of 1, or the absence of the IEWatsonEnabled Value Name, causes Internet Explorer Error Reporting to be enabled.
