When you receive an .XML attachment to your Windows XP Outlook or Outlook Express e-mail, and you double-click the attachment, or right-click it and press Open, you receive:

The XML page cannot be displayed.

Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Access is denied.

Internet Explorer cannot open an .XML attachment from the Temporary Internet Files folder.

To workaround this feature:

1. Right-click the attachment and press Save As. Save the attachment to any other folder on your disk.

2. Close the message window.

3. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the .XML file that you saved in step 1.

4. Double-click the .XML file to open it.
