In tip 1241, we used the registry to set the NoFolderOptions Value Name to a data value of 1.

You can implement the Remove the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu Group Policy, at User ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesWindows ComponentsWindows Explorer, to remove the Folder Options item from all Windows Explorer menus and to remove the Folder Options item from Control Panel.
