When you print to a LPT printer port, the CPU usage goes to 100 percent until the job is finished?

Windows 2000 does not have interrupt support for LPT printers.

The only way around this issue is to print to a USB printer port. If your printer does not have a USB connection, use a parallel-USB cable.
