To limit the number of newsgroups displayed:

1. Expand the NNTP virtual server.

2. Right-click Newsgroup and press Limit groups enumeration.

3. On the Find Newsgroups dialog, type a model (alt.*), of the newsgroup you want displayed when the Newsgroup node is selected, into the Newsgroup box. This will filter out all other types.

NOTE: If you type a specific newsgroup, only that newsgroup will be enumerated.

4. Type the maximum number of newsgroups you want enumerated into the Maximum number of items box. The default limit is 100.

NOTE: If you don't want any limit, uncheck the Limit number of items on the result pane box.
