When you try to uninstall the COM Internet Services Proxy component, you receive:

Could not install or remove the COM Internet Services Proxy component.

This error is a result of an incomplete install of the component. To complete the uninstall:

1. Copy the %SystemRoot%System32DllcacheRpcproxy.dll file to the %SystemRoot%System32Rpcproxy folder.

2. At a CMD prompt, type:

Regsvr32.exe Rpcproxy.dll

Now that the Dynamic Link Library is registered, you may uninstall the COM Internet Services Proxy component.
