JSI Tip 3350. Windows 2000 common dialog Save As defaults to the last saved folder?

The subject behavior is by design.

There is no way to alter this feature in Windows 2000.

Programs like Microsoft Office allow you to specify a folder for saving files, but it has no effect on the common dialog.
