JSI Tip 3169. I selected the Raw data type, but my spool files are still very large?

Even though you used tip 3168 to cause a client to spool the Raw data type, some printers still spool TrueType fonts, resulting in larger spool files.

To prevent fonts from being sent:

1. Start / Settings / Printers.

2. Right-click the printer that you want to use and press Properties.

3. Select the General tab.

4. Press Printing Preferences.

5. Select the Layout tab. I no Layout tab exists, abort this procedure.

6. Press the Advanced button.

7. Toggle the TrueType Font drop-down to Substitute with Device Font, if the option is available.

8. Press OK.
