If you import a .ldif file with the Ldifde tool, the import process will stop if any of the objects have one or more attributes whose values contain blank or empty spaces. You might also receive:

An error on line : Invalid Syntax The server side error is "The parameter is incorrect." 0 entries modified successfully. An error has occurred in the program.

If you used the Ldifde tool to export this .ldif file, modify the file so that attributes with blank or empty values are filled with with non-blank values.

See http://www.rfc-editor.org to view the RFC 2849 specification.
