When you try to logon to a Windows 2000 Professional Workstation as a new domain user, you receive:

User Environment: Windows cannot log you on because the profile cannot be loaded. Contact your network administrator.
DETAIL - The system cannot find the file specified.

Someone has deleted the Default User folder on the workstation.

To resolve the problem, an administrator must create a Default User sub-folder of Documents and Settings, even though the folder contents may remain empty.
