When you install Windows 2000 as a standalone workstation, pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE does not display the Log on to box.

One possible reason for this behavior is that you configured the workstation in a workgroup named Workgroup.

To resolve the issue, press the Options button on the Log On to Windows dialog box.
