When you attempt to put your Windows 2000 computer into Hibernate or Standby mode, you receive:
The device driver for the 'PC/AT Enhanced PS/2 Keyboard(101/102-Key)'device is preventing the machine from entering hibernation. Please close all applications and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to update this driver.
Some 3rd party program has installed a kernel mode device driver that attaches to the I8042prt.sys keyboard driver, and it is NOT compatible with Windows 2000.
Some possibilities are:
Pgpdisk 6.02 (which installs the Pgpmemlock.sys and Pgpdisk.sys drivers). Adobe Type Manager 4.0 (which installs the Atmhelpr.sys driver).
The only solution is to uninstall the program and contact the developer for a compatible update.
