JSI Tip 2229. How do I do a clean install of Windows 2000 if I only have an upgrade CD-ROM?

If you boot the Upgrade CD-ROM, or floppies, and choose to setup Windows 2000, your are prompted to insert the CD-ROM of the qualifying product. If you have Windows 2000 Professional, you are prompted to insert any of the following:

        Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 3.51        Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0        Microsoft Windows 95        Microsoft Windows 98        Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition

If you have Windows 2000 Server, you are prompted to insert:

        Microsoft Windows NT Server 3.51        Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0        Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition        Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Enterprise Edition

If you have Windows 2000 Advanced Server, you are prompted to insert Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Enterprise Edition.
