JSI Tip 2187. Additional reason for receiving an error when invoking the Security Editor, in Window NT 4.0.

We first disussed a reason for receiving the Error Invoking the Security Editor message, in tip 1114.

If tip 1114 doesn't fix the problem, your Advapi32.dll file may be damaged or too old.

You need to check the version using a full version tool, like Filever.exe. It must be version 4.0.1381.121 or later.

Advapi32.dll is available in a number of Microsoft products, including Internet Explorer.
