In Windows NT 4.0, you could create a set of setup boot disks by running:

winnt /OX

      or

winnt32 /OX

These do NOT work in Windows 2000.

If you run winnt32 /OX, you simply get Winnt32 help.

To create a set of Setup boot disks for Windows 2000:

1. Mount the Windows 2000 CD-ROM.

2. Start / Run.

3. Type:

      bootdiskmakeboot A:

4. Press Enter.

NOTE: Setup boot disks are NOT needed if your computer BIOS supports booting from the CD-ROM.

NOTE: You can create the Setup boot disks from any operating system.
