Assuming you haven't turned it off, it may not run if you are a Windows NT 4.0 user that is NOT a member of the Power User or Administrors group, since only members of the Power User or Administrors groups are allowed to install software, and .inf files are considered to be setup files.

NOTE: In Windows 2000, ordinary users will be prompted with an Install Program as other user message.
