When you issue a NET TIME /SET /YES in a logon script, workstations in different time zones may not receive the correct time.

The NET TIME command does not have the ability to recognize time zones.

The solution is to pick one of the following:

1. Synchronize with a computer in the same time zone.

2. Use the W2K compliant Timeserv.exe, from Supplement 4 of the Windows NT 4.0 Resource Kit.
