Cookies are web page specific variables that are set on the client computer by the web server.

When you connect to a web site that uses Cookies, the Cookie Variables are sent to the web page you are browsing.

If you are migrating to a new computer, with a fresh install, it is handy to copy your Cookies.

- Internet Explorer 4.x for Windows NT: %systemroot%profiles%username%[email protected]

- Internet Explorer 3.0 for Windows NT: %systemroot%[email protected]

- Internet Explorer 3.0 for Windows NT version 3.51 and WFW: IE folder as Emcookie.dat.

- Internet Explorer 1.5 for Windows NT: %systemroot%cookie.jar

- Internet Explorer 5.0 for Windows 98: %windir%[email protected]

- Internet Explorer 4.x for Windows 98: %windir%[email protected]

- Internet Explorer 5.0 for Windows 95: %windir%[email protected]

- Internet Explorer 4.x for Windows 95: %windir%[email protected]
