When you try to print to a HP 870cxi printer, the event log may contain:

Event 7022: The TCP/IP Print Server service hung on starting.

The printer may also disappear from the printer list. You may also notice that the Spooler (Control Panel / Services / Spooler) has stopped.

To resolve this problem:

1. Unistall the printer drivers that you installed from the HP printer installation disk.

2. Uninstall the printer.

3. Download Nt4dsk2.exe.

4. Reinstall the printer using the drivers in this self extracting file.
