Use Regedt32 to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPrintProviders

The right hand pane should list an Order value name, a type REG_MULTI_SZ entry,
which should contain a first line of LanMan Print Services (other lines are possible).

Double click the Providers key. A LanMan Print Services sub-key should exist with at least:

Type

String value

DisplayName 

REG_SZ 

LanMan Print Services

Name 

REG_SZ 

Win32spl.dll

Shutdown and restart the print server.
