Use Regedt32 to navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPrintProviders
The right hand pane should list an Order value name, a type REG_MULTI_SZ entry,
which should contain a first line of LanMan Print Services (other lines are possible).
Double click the Providers key. A LanMan Print Services sub-key should exist with at least:
Value Name | Type | String value |
---|---|---|
DisplayName | REG_SZ | LanMan Print Services |
Name | REG_SZ | Win32spl.dll |
Shutdown and restart the print server.
