Example: The Save As Type in Microsoft Office Binder contains:

Binder Documents Binder Templates All Files

instead of

Binder Documents (*.obd) Binder Templates (*.obt,*.obz) All Files (*.*)

You have Hide File Extensions For Known Types checked on the View / Options / View menu
in My Computer or Windows NT Explorer.

If you have Active Desktop installed, use My Computer / View / Folder Options / View to deselect it. On the General tab, toggle your style and click Apply. Toggle it back and click Apply and OK.
