PPA (Print Performance Architecture) printers are supported on Windows NT, but they can not be locally attached. You must use a third-party device like a HP Jet Direct box.

If you use a HP Jet Direct box:

1. Configure it for Centronics.

2. Power cycle the Jet Direct box.

3. Use a third-party uni-directional Windows NT driver.
