If your Microsoft Exchange Server Internet Mail Service (IMS) does not always decode UUEncoded body parts, it is because it has not received a proper MIME version header.

. You can alter this behavior by upgrading to the latestest Exchange Service Pack.

. Use regedt32 to navigate to:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesMSExchangeISParametersSystemInternetContent

Add Value name ContentTypeEQMimeVer, as a type REG_DWORD, and set the data value:

1 - If a top-level Content-Type header is found, treat the meassage as MIME.

0 - A valid MIME version header is required.
