JSI Tip 10455. You receive error '-2147024773' when you attempt to change your domain password in OWA (Outlook Web Access) when you use Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mac?

When you use Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mac to change your domain password in OWA, you receive the following error:

-2147024773

This behavior occurs because the increased security in Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000 SP4 is incompatible with Internet Explorer for Mac. If the domain controller or global catalog server that is providing the authentication is running any of these operating systems, you will experience the error.

NOTE: Microsoft Internet Explorer for Mac is old technology, and is no longer available for download.

To workaround this issue, use a different free browser:

Download Apple's Safari.

Download Netscape Browser.
