A. In Windows NT 4.0, you enable IP forwarding by checking "Enable IP Routing" in the Advanced TCP/IP configuration dialog box. However, to enable a multihomed Win2K box to act as an IP router, you must perform the following steps:
Start regedit.exe.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters.
Double-click IPEnableRouter.
Set the value to 1. Click OK.
Close regedit.
Reboot the machine.
