How do I disable compatibility mode with Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 and later?

A. To disable the compatibility mode, perform the following steps:

  1. Start a Run box (Start, Run).

  2. Enter the following command:

    regsvr32 /u %systemroot%apppatchslayerui.dll
  3. Click OK.

  4. Click OK to the confirmation.

The Compatibility tab will no longer appear.
