A. When you delete an item from the Outlook client (and its beenremoved from the Deleted Items folder) it is actually kept on the Exchangeserver for a set amount of time (Exchange Server 5.5 and above only), obviouslythis only applies if the mail is from an Exchange server, if you use Outlook todownload from POP3, IMAP etc this does not work. Mail and can be recovered asfollows:

  1. Start the Outlook client

  2. Select the "Deleted Items folder"

  3. Select "Recover Deleted Items" from the Tools menu

  4. Select the message and click the "Recover selected message"button

  5. Close the dialog

  6. The message will be added to the "Deleted Items" folder
