A. A. Perform the following:

  1. Start the registry editor (regedt32.exe, not regedit.exe)

  2. Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogon

  3. Create a new value called KeepRasConnections of type REG_SZ

  4. Set the new value to have a value of 1
