How can I print the euro symbol?

A. First, ensure that the font you're using supports the euro (you can find this information on the Microsoft Euro Currency Resource Center Web site.

Second, to enter the euro symbol, perform the following steps:

  1. Ensure that you've enabled the Num Lock key on your keyboard.

  2. Hold down the Alt key and type 0128 on the numeric keypad.

  3. The euro symbol will appear onscreen.

Many international Windows versions offer simpler ways of generating the euro symbol (you can obtain a full list at Microsoft's Web site. For most locales, type AltGr + e, AltGr +4 (in the UK), AltGr + 5, or AltGr + u. If your keyboard doesn't have an AltGr key, use the right-hand Alt key.
