Does NT 4.0 support Direct X?

A. A. Direct X is built into NT 4.0, although limited. There is no way to upgrade the Direct X part of NT, however Service Pack 3 has complete Direct X 3.0 support. NT 4.0 pre Service Pack 3 supports the DirectDraw, DirectSound and DirectPlay components of DirectX.
