Can I let users change their own mailbox information?

A. Yes. By default, only user accounts that have admin permissions on the Exchange directory in Microsoft Exchange Server can modify the items in the mailbox properties dialog box. However, staying on top of user changes can take lot of time that you can better spend elsewhere. Instead, I recommend that you consider using the Microsoft BackOffice Resource Kit (BORK). The BORK includes a utility known as the Global Address List Modification (GALMOD) tool, which lets you set up a Web page for users to edit their own mailbox information. You'll find information in the BORK on how to set up and configure the GALMOD.
