NOTE: An ASR restore will NOT restore your data files.

To recover from a system failure using ASR:

1. Collect the following:

        - The Windows XP CD-ROM.
        - The ASR floppy disk.
        - The ASR backup media.
        - Any 'non-Windows XP CD-ROM based' mass storage drivers on a floppy disk.

2. Boot from the Windows XP CD-ROM.

3. Press F6 when prompted, if you have additional mass storage drivers on a floppy disk.

4. Press F2 at the beginning of text mode setup, when prompted.

5. When prompted, insert the ASR floppy disk.

6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

7. You may be prompted to press F6 again, after the system restarts, if you have additional mass storage drivers on a floppy disk.

8. Continue to follow the on-screen instructions.
